It All Started with a Single Practice Room at Home
The founder of Senyum Utama began practicing from one small room at home in 2014, serving neighbors and acquaintances who were reluctant to visit large clinics because they felt rushed and not given enough explanation about their treatment. From there, the clinic's principle took shape: every procedure must be explained to the patient first, not simply carried out.
Today Senyum Utama occupies a permanent clinic on Jalan Kaliurang with four permanent dentists, but the original philosophy has not changed — patients have the right to know what will be done to their teeth before agreeing to any treatment.
